Denmark By Process - One Year Later

  • Link Gallery & Workshop 144 South 39th Street Omaha, NE, 68131 United States (map)

"Denmark by Process—One Year Later." Stop by from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday, August 9 to see the show and visit with Kori.

Archbold’s fixation with Denmark not only came from her Alma Mater, Dana College, but from her heritage as well. Her fourth great-grandpa emigrated here in the 1860s from one of Denmark’s many islands. Archbold carries on her love for Denmark through images captured in the moment, with a Scandinavian heart, and a Midwestern eye for seeing the beauty in everything. “Denmark by Process” includes a mix of digital prints, cyanotypes, and salt prints to see through Archbold’s eyes what Denmark looked like in all shades, colors, and processes.

Kori Archbold is a newly minted photographer living in Omaha, Nebraska. She recently received her AAS degree in photography from Metropolitan Community College and has been a member of Link Co-op & Gallery since January 2024. Her photo work began with a home-grown food blog, and has now stretched beyond shooting cookies and cake to experiences in events, portraits, headshots, travel, architecture, and street photography. Her more recent developments include exploring alternative processes and analog film photography.
